The 2016 Currie Enrichment Series at First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville, April 15-17, will focus on the Book of Proverbs, a part of both Hebrew and Christian scripture dealing with wisdom. The Rev. Dr. Christine Roy Yoder, professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Ga., has titled her overall presentation, ?The Tree of Life: A Study of Proverbs.? Her lectures will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and the final lecture will be the sermon for the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at First Presbyterian, all in the church sanctuary at 800 Jefferson St.
