Presented by bird-authority Dr. Rob Carpenter, filmmaker and producer of the popular bird video that always plays in the Riverside Nature Center Visitors Center. Learn to recognize the sight, and the song, of many of our city-living birds, from the mockingbird to the hawk, with flocks of other feathered neighbors in between.
This multimedia, family-friendly seminar is indoors, in the Visitors Center. Free, but a $10 family donation is suggested. Arrive in time to meet or to visit with the resident critters in our WICKED exhibit, from Sunshine the diva turtle to hissing ol’ Tejas Slim, a ratsnake.
