Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg is planning a free Teen Heart Screening for ages 14-18. Screenings detect risk for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) the leading cause of sudden cardiac death for active teens, rarely showing identifiable symptoms.
