Woods to present Chautauqua lecture at Schreiner
 
“Drunk and Stupid Is No Way to Go through Life, Son” is the title of the lecture that will be presented by Dr. William Woods starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Schreiner University’s Cailloux Campus Activity Center Theatre.
 
Woods, dean of the School of Liberal Arts, is the final speaker this fall for the Robert P. Hallman Chautauqua Lecture Series at Schreiner. As with the previous fall lectures, he will examine personal struggles that have shaped and defined who he has become. The lecture title paraphrases a well-known quote from the classic campus comedy, “Animal House” (1978).
 
The Hallman Chautauqua lectures, sponsored by Schreiner’s Center for Innovative Learning as part of the Big Idea program, are free and open to the public.
