Senior Client Accountant – Remote (Texas Hill Country-Based) Part-Time to Start | Flexible Hours | Work from Home

We work with growing businesses across the country, and we’re looking for a seasoned Client Accountant who can confidently lead accounting engagements, supervise bookkeepers, and work directly with business owners to help them grow and thrive.

What You’ll Do

- Manage multiple client accounts with a controller’s mindset

- Supervise and review the work of bookkeepers and junior staff

- Communicate directly with clients via video, text, email, and phone

- Analyze financials and support our clients with insights and strategy

- Help clients improve profitability and implement better systems

- Use modern tools including G Suite, Loom, VOIP, and cloud accounting platforms

- Collaborate with the internal team via Slack, ClickUp, and video conferencing

- Make occasional in-person visits to Fredericksburg, TX

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

- Have 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities

- Have served as a Controller or in a similar leadership accounting role

- Understand business operations and enjoy working with entrepreneurs

- Are detail-oriented, self-directed, and deadline-driven

 - Are tech-savvy and confident using remote tools and communication apps

- Bonus: Have experience with small business tax or tax prep

- Live in or near the Texas Hill Country (Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Boerne, etc.)
