About Us
The Kerrville First United Methodist had its beginnings in 1856 with the town’s founder Joshua D. Brown who donated the land for a Methodist Church. Several years later in 1871, the church was built. 5 years later, the building was destroyed by a storm.
For years after, the congregation meet in a Union Church. The current church building was established in the 1970s. Pastor David Payne, the senior pastor at KFUMC, has been with them since 2017. Services are held weekly and more information can be found at their website.
