Job description:

The Cypress Valley Clinic Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for assisting walk-in clients, scheduling client appointments, answering phone lines, and helping clients with questions and issues. This is an exempt position, 32-40 hours per week. We also offer a healthcare stipend that is in addition to salary.

Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, and the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9 am to 5 pm. Note: Hours may vary based upon need.

Reports to: Executive Director

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complies with the policies and procedures of Kerr County Christian Action Council (KCCAC).

2. Welcomes clients and visitors of the center in a friendly manner.

3. Manages appointment calendar for nurses.

4. Answers phone calls and directs callers to the appropriate individual.

5. Ensures all client files are being filed (both electronic and physical files) and maintained appropriately within applicable technology systems.

6. Pulls and provides client files and appropriate forms for each appointment.

7. Maintains cleanliness of building.

8. Manages email account.

9. Regularly checks voicemail messages to ensure calls are being returned in a timely manner.

10. Performs opening and closing procedures to ensure the building is ready for clients and secure at the end of the business day.

11. Refers clients to various resources throughout the community as needed.

12. Attends regular training sessions as needed for curriculum, adoption, and other topics.

13. Furthers the religious mission of the ministry of KCCAC through prayer or other duties.

14. Participates in corporate prayer as part of KCCAC’s ministry.

15. Assists with and attends fundraising events as needed.

16. Posts Social Media as directed.

17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or President.

18. Monthly Chamber of Commerce networking for Kerr County and West Kerr County.

19. Keeps office supplies stocked and orders when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be a mature Christian as evidenced by personal growth and life choices by being a committed and active member of a local Bible- believing church:

  • Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. b) Practices an active prayer life, interceding with God and trusting Him for whatever fruit our ministry produces.
  • Demonstrates a knowledge of, and an ability to share the gospel with others comfortably.
  • In full agreement with KCCAC statements of Faith, Principle, Code of Christian Conduct, and Commitment of Care.

2. Must be able to speak Spanish and English.

3. An Unshakable Pro-Life Conviction, without apology, compromise, or exception, that abortion is the unspeakable and sinful taking of an innocent human life and the willingness to stand up for that belief and for the Mission Statement of KCCAC.

4. Conveys a loving, non-judgmental attitude at all times.

5. Contributes to the ministry by working as a team member.

6. Self-directed and experienced in carrying out responsibilities with minimal supervision.

7. Easily able to multitask, with high organizational skills.

8. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

9. Actively views their position as more than a job.

10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google and other computer applications as needed.
