Creating Oceaneering - A story in Entrepreneurship
Tuesday April 2 • 6-7:30 p.m. • Dietert Center
Registration is $20 at the door *Diamond members get up to two free attendees per chamber membership
The Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Dynamic Learning Institute to offer a series of entrepreneurial business leader development courses.
Class description:
Oceaneering is a story of high-risk adventures by divers who ultimately were challenged by their own
business success. Success that motivated them to move forward from a work of individual
accomplishment to learning the processes of management and getting things done by others.
Progressively they learned to overcome extreme challenges by developing the people, equipment,
training and expertise to build a world class enterprise.
Mike’s story is truly an adventure in risk taking, entrepreneurship, survival, success and leadership. A
story of his progression from a commercial diver to Chairman of the Board of a publicly traded NYSE company with over ten thousand employees in 40 offices across the world. This story is literally a rags to riches adventure that provides glimpses of an amazing underwater environment that most of us barely know.
Join Mike Hughes, Tuesday April 2, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Dietert Center for fascinating insights into the Oceaneering Story and the succession of high-risk and high-reward entrepreneurial opportunities
they encountered.
