Bartender
Responsibilities include:
- Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests
- Verify the identification and age of customers
- Accept payments from customers using a Point of Sale system
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Balance cash receipts to record sales
- Greet customers, answer questions and recommend menu items
- Handle basic cleaning duties associated with bartending
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years experience in a bar or similar environment
- Skilled in mixing a diverse drink menu
- Must be 21 years of age
- Employs strong communication skills
- Examples of utilization of basic mathematical skills
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Safe Food Handling Certified
- TABC Certified
