Bartender

Responsibilities include:

• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests
• Verify the identification and age of customers
• Accept payments from customers using a Point of Sale system
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Balance cash receipts to record sales
• Greet customers, answer questions and recommend menu items
• Handle basic cleaning duties associated with bartending

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 years experience in a bar or similar environment
• Skilled in mixing a diverse drink menu
• Must be 21 years of age
• Employs strong communication skills
• Examples of utilization of basic mathematical skills
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Safe Food Handling Certified
• TABC Certified
