About Us

Established in 1977, Hill Country Youth Ranch Thrift Shop is a discount retailer selling donated clothing and household items. The shop is wholly run by volunteers with proceeds supporting the children living at both campuses of Hill Country Youth Ranch for children.

HCYR Thrift Shop located in Ingram offers a great variety of discounted, hand selected and well maintained items of all types. Donated items that directly meet the needs of the children are taken to the ranch for their use. Other items are sold at the Thrift Shop with the proceeds benefitting the children living, going to school and receiving care at Hill Country Youth Ranch. Most volunteers are also members of the HCYR Auxiliary but you don’t have to be a member to serve here. Volunteers enjoy working about 4 hours a week motivated by the knowledge that their time and efforts provide care and support for children who have suffered from abuse, abandonment and neglect.

Do you have a few hours you can give each week for a great cause? Come join us!
