Kerrville Salvation Army Volunteer Returns from St Louis Deployment

Kerrville Salvation Army Volunteer Returns from St. Louis Deployment Kerrville, Texas (June 19, 2025) – The Salvation Army's Texas Division of Emergency Disaster Services was called upon to assist the St. Louis, Missouri area in response to a devastating tornado that took place on May 16th. Local Kerrville Disaster Volunteer, Linda Jaques, answered the call and was deployed to help serve the disaster-stricken community. Linda loves seeing people come together in the face of unimaginable disaster. " It was so awesome because everyone worked together as a team. It was so organized and efficient to serve the community in need. And the community was so appreciative for the support!" Linda is no stranger to volunteering or visiting disaster zones. Earlier this year, she provided meals and hydration to first responders during the wildfires that blazed across the Texas Hill Country. She also helped serve flood victims in McAllen after floods rushed through South Texas in April. We are so blessed to have such a hard-working volunteer with a heart to serve those in need.
