GIVE WITH JOY – THE SALVATION ARMY SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR RED KETTLE AND ANGEL TREE PROGRAMS

Kerrville, Texas (November 10, 2025) - While many are just beginning to think about holiday decorations, The Salvation Army has been preparing for Christmas for months—ensuring that families in need across Kerrville can experience the joy and hope of the season. As red kettles begin to appear outside stores and Angel Trees are set up in local businesses, volunteers are urgently needed to help bring the spirit of Christmas to life.

The Salvation Army of Kerrville is calling on the community to Give with Joy by volunteering for its Red Kettle campaign and Angel Tree program - two beloved traditions that make a real difference for thousands of individuals and families.

“Volunteering makes such a big impact on so many lives during the holidays,” said Captain Rebekah Swyers of The Salvation Army in Kerrville. “Whether you can spare an hour, a morning or a full day, share the gift of your time and Give with Joy to those who need it most. You can ring the bell at a kettle on your own, with your family or bring a whole group—it’s a wonderful way to serve together.”

Become a Bell Ringer – Every dollar collected in the red kettle supports The Salvation Army’s social services programs throughout the year right here in Kerrville.
