KPA! funds FREE Rural Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic and Education for HUNT, Tx Residents

 
 
Kerrville Pets Alive! will fund FREE Trapping Training and Spay/Neuter Surgeries for Rural Cat Clinics beginning with Flood Ravaged Hunt, Texas
 
(KERRVILLE, TX) As part of their “One Paw at a Time Initiative,” to heal Kerr County, Kerrville Pets Alive! will be fund FREE rural cat spay and neuter clinics along with hands-on training to help property owners learn how to safely and effectively care for community cats.
A required training session will be held:
Sunday, December 14 at 2 PM, both at the Hunt, Tx Preservation Society. The clinic itself will take place on Tuesday, December 16th. You must the training session for your cats to participate in the clinic.
 
“KPA!’s is focused on being proactive and not reactive. That means we must go to the people in far reaching areas of Kerr County to offer our services. The Hunt area experienced
tragic loss in July. Rural cats in that area lost shelter and their owners need resources. The goal of these trainings and clinics is to empower property owners to safely and effectively capture these cats and get them fixed to maintain a healthy cat population,” said Karen Guerriero, Executive Director – Kerrville Pets Alive!.
 
This is the first of KPA!’s new “Rural Feline Fix” clinics, with more to come.
