Kerrville – On Friday, April 3rd, McDonald’s restaurants across South and Central Texas will hold a fundraiser to support local 100 Club chapters, in their mission to provide financial support to family members of law enforcement / peace officers, who have been killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.

The fundraiser will take place on Good Friday from 11 a.m. to  1p.m; and 10% of lunch sales will be donated to 9 organizations: The 100 Club, The 100 Club of Central Texas, The 100 Club of Comal County, 100 Club of Corpus Christi, 100 Club of the Heart of Texas, Hill Country 100 Club, 100 Club of Kendall County, 100 Club of Gillespie County and 100 Club of San Antonio.

Customers are invited to participate in the fundraiser simply by visiting their local McDonald's restaurant on April 3 during lunchtime and purchasing anything on the menu. This fundraiser was established in 2001 by San Antonio McDonald’s Owner-Operators and has raised more than $500,000 for local ‘100 Clubs’ since its inception.

“We are deeply honored to stand behind our local 100 Club in this fundraiser”, said Kevin and Lis Mazzu, McDonald’s Owner/Operators in Kerrville, Fredericksburg and Junction. "We urge our customers to unite with us this Good Friday to make a difference and stand by the families of our local first responders, who every day put their lives on the line to protect and serve our community”.
