Kerrville Area Chamber Foundation Continues
Rebuilding & Recovery Fund to Support Flood-Affected Businesses
 
KERRVILLE, TX — In response to the devastating floods that struck Kerrville and surrounding communities on July 16, 2026, the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board once again is providing business grants to area businesses for immediate assistance to local businesses facing the overwhelming challenges of recovery.
“The July 16^th floods left a profound impact on our community,, just one year from the July 4, 2025 floods” said Pete Calderon, Chairman of the Kerrville Area Chamber Foundation. “Our local businesses—the very heart and soul of Kerrville—have suffered significant damage and loss. This fund is our way of stepping up to support them during this critical time.”
Program Highlights:

• Grant funds are available now for businesses affected by the flood, regardless of Chamber membership status.
• Funding may be used for a variety of recovery-related expenses, including building repairs, signage, equipment, inventory, utilities, and more.
• This is a grant program—not a loan. Funds awarded do not need to be repaid.
• Applications are open immediately, and awards will be made based on need and available resources.
